Brewtarget Helps You Create and Manage Your Homebrew Recipes

Windows/Mac/Linux: Brewtarget is a free, open-source application designed to help homebrews create and organize beer recipes.

From the Brewtarget website:

“I was fed up with the lack of good open source beer software, so I thought I would make a small application that would do all the calculations for me.

The ultimate goal of the project is to be able to take a set of user-given constraints and immediately formulate a recipe.”

Download from :  [SourceForge]  Brewtarget

brewsta is another free, cross-platform, open-source alternative worth a look.

The Dairy State Cheese and Beer Festival

Beer Clubs can get free tickets to beer festival.

The Dairy State Cheese and Beer Festival is Saturday, April 10 at the Brat Stop in Kenosha (www.kenoshabeerfest.com).

Area beer club members who would like to qualify for free tickets can do so by raising money online for the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, which is the beneficiary of this popular event.

It’s really easy – simply go to www.firstgiving.com/bgckenosha and click on “join a team” and click on Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival to set up a donation page. Send the link to the page out to everybody on your email list. For every $100 you get in donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha before April 1, 2010, you will be mailed two free tickets to the beer festival.

If you have any questions, please call or email me.

Thank you.

Ron Stevens
