Please, no smoking at the tasting table and we also request a $2.00 tip for the Sud’s staff to clean up after us. Cheers!!!

09 Picnic Review

Thanks to all that came out. Everyone seemed to have fun. Lots of good food and, from what everyone else said, good brews. Most of the thanks should go to my wife Dawn who worked hard all day Wednesday to get things ready.

Brew Fest Update

Where are we at with Brew Fest…..????

As far as I know Brew Fest at Bushel and Peck’s is not going to happen.  I have not received any updates about this, nor have I really asked for any. For those who brewed beer for this event, I’ll say sorry. I also brewed for this event.  More beer for us!

Here is some information I have about having Brew Fest at Sud’s. I talked with Tom and he said we could pick any date we would like as long as he didn’t have anything booked. I asked if Saturday was OK and he said no problem. I asked about starting times and he said what ever we want to do. I also asked about SBS calling in vendors of our choice, again he said do what ever we want. I think we could make this into a cool event.

Mike had a good idea at the last meeting. He thought maybe having the Brew Fest the same month every year.  I think that would cut down on confusion and have something to plan for.

I could use some input on this.

Questions for discussion.

Should we wait for college to be in session to have brew fest?

If we would like to plan a Fest soon what are some suggested dates? Tell me what weekend is good for you. Majority rules!

Do I have any volunteers for this? This would involve having a Brew Fest planning meeting at the bar of my choice.

Any other comments?

Post your suggestions in the comments below.

Sorry, but do over…

Brew Board V2.0

The problem I had with the old board getting spammed seems to have damaged the database. I have reset the the sign up password to require only letters and numbers. No weird characters.

This can’t possibly help user participation but it had to be done.

Sorry to the few users that did use it but if you could re register that would be awesome!

The Argument For Canned Beer

Here is kind of a cool article about beer in cans. We all know most of this info but still a quick, cool read.

The BrewBoard is back!

There has been some seeming interest in a message board/forum. I re-opened it.  Lets see how this works again.
