The FCB has offerd SBS members a chance to take part in two events coming up. Trips to Chilton Wisconsin Microbrewers Festival and the Great Taste of The Midwest.

Mike Sears sent me all the info for the trips so read below.

I wanted to let you know that it is time to get your money turned in if you are planning to go on the Chilton Wisconsin Microbrewers Festival.The Festival is slated for Sunday May 17th, 2009. The cost is $60.00. Cost includes transportation to and from the festival and admission into the festival. You will receive a tasting glass at the admission gate. The only thing you will need money for is souvenirs and food if you get hungry. Last year’s participating breweries.

I will keep the tickets open to FCB members and their guests until Sunday March 22nd 14th UPDATED! after that date I will make tickets available to the SBS club.  If you want to guarantee a spot on this trip get a check or cash to me right away in order to secure a spot.

Please don’t wait until the 22nd if you are sure you want to go.

I will not deposit your check(s) until the FCB buys the tickets. Once I get the form for the tickets the club will purchase only the amount of tickets we have money in hand for. No money, No guaranteed spot. If you mail your money please include your e-mail so I can get information and updates to you and verify I received your money.

The Great Taste of the Midwest

I e-mailed Jim Didier today asking about how close the Great Taste of The Midwest trip scheduled for Saturday August 8th was to being full.  Jim responded that the trip is approximately 2/3rds full. That means there is only about 12 – 15 seats left.

Sooooo….If you have procrastinated to send your check you better do it now as seats are filling up. Cost is $50.00 per person which includes transportation via coach bus to and from the event, admission to the event. Checks are to be made out to Jim Didier, do not make them out to me.
