The Grumpy Troll Brew Pub and the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild are pleased to announce the Grumpy Troll Challenge on March 7, 2009. The contest is a challenge to the members of Wisconsin Homebrew Clubs to submit their best beers to be judged by BJCP standards. Submissions will be accepted from amateur brewers only. 3-5 ales will be chosen for the Best of Show round. If your beer is selected for the Best of Show round you will get the opportunity to brew your recipe with Grumpy Troll Brewmaster Mark Duchow. The ultimate Best of Show Winner will be chosen by best sales at the Grumpy Troll rather than a best of show judging panel.
