Curt sent me this cool keg mod. Here is his write up.

After removing the stem you need to grind the little tabs off so it will spin in the top.

I used a couple of clamps to attach the stem to the 2X4 then used hose clamps to attach the grinder.

The cutoff wheel was around .080”

Put the assembly in the keg with the hose clamps loose with the wheel touching the top of the keg lift the stem ¼ “ and tighten the hose clamps.

Start grinding, I went around once and scored the path then worked around cutting through.

I only use 1 cutting wheel per keg.
